HECSU awards The Careers Group £5,000 from its ‘Putting research into Practice’ (PROP) fund
The Careers Group will undertake research on how students use social networking to develop their careers. Other themes supported by PROP will include career guidance support for widening participation students (Edge Hill University) and how careers advisers advise on careers in the voluntary sector (Manchester University.
Michael Clarke, author of the winning bid, is delighted as this project was initiated by The Careers Group’s research team itself. Previous successful research having being undertaken on behalf of clients - The City of London Corporation and the Association of Graduate Careers Services.
